CAMEL AND HORSE TRIPS IN JORDAN

Enjoy horse riding in some of the most spectacular scenery in the world.
In Wadi Rum you can ride in the desert terrain through the sandstone mountains and giant basalt fortresses. Or you can ride the several day trip from Rum to Petra.

Another traditional way of transport in the areas is by camel. The camel is part of the Jordanian heritage; it is called the ship of the desert. In the past, and also today, the camel has multiple economic uses – it is a means of transport; it’s dung is used for fuel; it’s hair for clothes; milk for nourishment; meat for food; and it is a mean of trade and barter.

We use the camel for trips for adults or kids! Whether by horse or camel, either are wonderful ways to experience the marvellous landscapes of Jordan.
